Problem: you want to test your change in source code, but it takes forever to import transport to the Quality Assurance system.

Solution: there is a workaround for this problem. It is possible to change code directly in Quality System without transport import.

You need to go to the SE37 and execute FM RRI_REPORT_INSERT. This FM will allow you to change code directly in the Quality Assurance system. You will need to know the name of the program/include that you want to change the source code in. You will also have to give the source code line by line – which makes it useful only for changes in short source code. You will also need proper authorization to be able to execute this FM and change the source code.
