How to get SAP kernel information

Problem: you want to get information about SAP kernel.

Solution: just follow below steps to get the information:

  1. Goto transaction SM51.
  2. Click (not double click) on the database server.
  3. Click „Release Notes” button.

You will see the SAP R/3 kernel, patch level and other useful information there.
